The Kua number (sometimes called the Gua number or Lo Shu number) is a central concept in Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese art concerned with harmonising people with their environment. The Kua number helps to determine favourable and unfavourable directions for a person, which can be useful when furnishing living spaces, workplaces or constructing buildings.
